Lex_red (she/her) is a rope switch whose style focuses on technicality and comfortability in dynamic suspensions. As a top, her motto is "help me hurt you" and she enjoys tying partners in complex suspensions with a focus on making them as comfortable and safe as possible. She identifies as a “facilitator of pain” more than a sadist, and enjoys collaborative ties where bottoms are an active participant in where the tie goes. She has been in the community for over 10 years and teaches rope classes and workshops for all levels.

AJ (she/they) joined the kink scene in August 2023 and has consistently practiced rope bondage since then. She hails from Tulsa, Oklahoma where she co-runs rope education at her home dungeon 13thfloor. AJ considers herself both a selftier and rope switch. As a bottom, they adore physically strenuous ties that push their body’s limits. She approaches rope from a strictly platonic space where either the goal is deepening a friendship and exhibiting levels of trust, building technical skills, or goofing around and being downright silly.

Full suspension is often seen by many as the “peak” of Shibari — the moment the body finally leaves the ground. But what about the moment right before lift-off? That intense nervous excitement that builds as weight is progressively suspended…but not fully!
This will be an in-person only class (no livestream or recording)
In this class, @Midnight_Shibari will be teaching a partial suspension sequence that highlights those feelings. We’ll showcase the versatility of partials by playing with elevation while still grounded, adding in a horizontal plane of motion in suspension, and progressively increasing the challenge with every transition!

Single-column tie; suspendable upper body harness; 6-8 hanks of 7-8m rope; safety shears or similar rope cutting tool

This month there will be a figure-drawing opportunity at the Rope Jam. From 12:30-2:30, we will have models in rope for a few coordinated drawing sessions.
Three sessions will range from 20-30 minutes across different poses and different models. Oblige will have some materials on hand, but attendees should plan to bring their own sketching materials or tablets for digital sketches.
In general, this is meant to be an open, unstructured time for you to come in, grab a coffee or tea, relax, tie, skill share, and play. There’s no requirement to partake in the figure-drawing portion of the day. If this is not your thing, you are welcome to simply use the space however you wish during this time.
Our Open Play & Sunday Rope Jam -All are welcome, and any type of BDSM or kinky play is encouraged.

We have developed an entire weekend to take you, not only from the floor to the air, but to show you how to have an effective dynamic rope bondage suspension scene. These 7 classes are intended for not only those applying ropes, but equally important, those that receive ropes.

6” or 6’ off the ground all rope suspensions rely on one common element to achieve flight, the upline(s), we have lift off! In this class @Flynn_racer and @rose-in-rope will cover the essentials needed before you take off for flight. They will go over upline mechanics, upline management, upline harness attachment, upline hardpoint lock off, and upline safety.
Target audience: suspension curious rope enthusiasts with a good knowledge of the fundamentals and harnesses.
Class goal: provide upline knowlege and skills to safely take flight. And to utilize proper upline management to create a partial suspension, or take your first flight.
Class requirements: knowledge of a chest harness within your risk profile to suspend in. Knowledge of single column tie. (Bonus if you have knowledge of a hip harness within your risk profile to suspend in)

In week 1 of 4 @Flynn_Racer and @-emmie- will be looking at Single Columns, Double Columns and Hojo Cuffs. Several different ways to use these very basic ties to build an erotic rope bondage scene on the floor. Not only are these foundational ties needed for shibari but these are very useful for introducing someone to rope and erotic rope bondage without fancy patterns. It’s just tying people up, down, and to themselves.

Kink Exploratorium: A sampling experience for tops and bottoms
Whether you are new to kink or well-seasoned and looking to explore new things, this event is designed to give you a buffet of play you may be curious about.
Come on out and watch, learn, feel, and explore a variety of “mini-scenes." Expert players will be on hand to talk you through their specialties and allow you the opportunity to experience their talents firsthand.
Two, three-hour sessions are available starting at 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Up to 10 stations will be running congruent to each other, offering our guests the chance to try several different things. Most “mini-scenes” will last 12-15 minutes including some education about the kink and small negotiations.
For “tops,” this is an excellent chance to begin to explore a new skill set, and for “bottoms,” it’s a really good way to “get a feel for it." Or... switch it up and check out the other side!
