Join us for our In Person Learn, Explore, Apply & Play series.

Participants will leave these workshops with a better sense of self, a better connection with their partner and a wider perspective of Japanese inspired rope bondage or other BDSM/kink education and skills. Scroll for current class listings below.

Learn techniques related to a variety of BDSM/Kink/Fetish play. Each week classes alternate focus between Shibari/Rope & BDSM/Fetish.
Explore with your partner and other participants with consent.
Apply your skills in our supportive space.

October 22nd BDSM/Kink Special LEAP -“Cigars: Play and Protocol” - with ChiefDaddyJokes & liosami (Nick & Lisa)

In this cigar skill share, participants will learn the art of incorporating cigars into their BDSM play. Discover how to enhance the visual and sensory experience, from using the cigar as a prop to exploring the sensation of ash on the skin. We'll cover a range of techniques for bringing cigars into erotic play, along with how to build your own rituals, from the cut and the light to the shared smoke, that give your scenes intention, anticipation, and meaning.
You don't need a humidor full of premium sticks to get started. We'll walk through budget-friendly cigars and accessories that deliver a great experience without the aficionado price tag, so you can explore without a big upfront investment.
Attendees will also learn the safety precautions for using cigars in a kinky setting, including proper handling and care, ventilation and smoke considerations, and how to lower risk when incorporating them into scenes. Whether you're a seasoned cigar aficionado or new to the world of BDSM, this class offers a unique and exciting way to explore kink, sensation, and ritual.

November 5th BDSM/Kink Special LEAP -“Enhanced Negotiation Techniques” - with FerventLight (Autumn)

Enhanced negotiation techniques are a set of methods that can be used to engage in interaction with high-value individuals. This class will provide a model to empower you in building your own negotiation system so that you can foster a foundation of intentional trust and safe space into play with partners. We’ll explore a variety of considerations and techniques designed to both elicit from and share information with your intended interactive partner(s), which can add intention and depth into your negotiations for all types of interaction.

November 12th Shibari/Rope Bondage -“Top to Toe: Face & Foot Rope” - with @PersuasivePeach & @anyette

So you put your harnesses on, now what? This is where the fun really begins for PersuasivePeach and Anyette.
In this class, we’ll explore the sensory additions of tying toes, feet, and face, and how these areas can add something new to your existing rope practice. We’ll be demonstrating these additions through partial suspensions, but you can participate at whatever level you’re comfortable with.
Please come prepared with a basic chest harness and futo/thigh cuff. We’ll quickly go over both, but they won’t be the highlight of the evening.

@PersuasivePeach is a rope switch, edge player, and collared submissive (MDD’s the lucky one) based in Northwest Ohio. With a little over four years in the scene, she’s taught or supported classes on breath play, cold branding, caning, sensory deprivation, cigar play, and- of course- rope.
She leads the monthly Toledo Area Tied Up rope class, where she helps participants build skill, confidence, and connection through hands-on learning and thoughtful challenge. Peach enjoys exploring the edges of comfort and control, and she’s passionate about helping others find their own rhythm in rope, whether they’re flying or staying grounded.
@Anyette (she/they) is a submissive rope bottom from the Detroit area with an affinity for play that evokes discomfort and distress, and she believes that the best way to explore those thoroughly and safely is through transparent and efficient communication.
Anyette’s will be covering concepts like active bottoming in rope, embracing intentional discomfort, and how to establish efficient communication with your rope top so you both feel safe and connected (even when things get a little uncomfy – intentionally, of course)

November 19th: DSM/Kink Special LEAP -"Sitting with Masochism: Exploring the Why" - With EyesoftheMoon & Rose_of_Kali

Being hurt is something we're taught to avoid our whole lives. When exploring masochism, willingly being hurt can bring on it's own pain - whether it's imposter syndrome or sense of shame. How do we reconcile a masochistic desire with our engrained expectations of ourselves? After we accept that we want to be hurt, how do we feel confident in claiming the title of masochism and fighting back our seemingly ever present imposter syndrome.
In this class we'll aspire to build a roadmap to feeling comfortable and confident in your masochism.
This class will begin with a lecture on the different motivations for masochism and building a shared understanding and then move to a panel discussion.

Kit (she/her) is a second generation polyamorous human who engages as a little in a DD/lg style relationship with her dominant, life partner, and coparent. She began exploring kink in 2020 and engage with the local community in 2022.
Kit is a service submissive local to the Metro-Detroit scene with a research and theory based approach to education. Her aspiration is to continue increasing the amount and quality of bottom inclusive kink education. Kit is also on the board of @BOE_TNG and is a passionate supporter of safe and comfortable spaces for young kinksters to connect and learn. Rosie is a queer, poly, neurodivergent kinkster and a sadomasochistic, submissive-leaning switch of 10 years. They entered their local kink scene in 2023, and have found there are infinite ways to grow, connect, and play. They can always be found laughing or exploring kink theory in conversation with their friends!
Rosie loves to attend classes that dive deep into power dynamics, energy play, and the psychology of kink. They thrive at events that center community connection with other kinksters, such as High Protocol evenings where they get to embrace their service heart and desire for vulnerability.
For Rosie, participating intentionally in kink is about self exploration, heightening connection, and cultivating internal freedom from oppressive systems with their community.
Rosie's approach to education is centered on inclusion, consent, and co-learning. They believe that the best way to learn is to teach, and the best way to teach is to learn!
