Handcrafted solid wood hickory handle and rubber slapper. Slappers are hand-cut, sanded, and oil finished to preserve the natural beauty of the wood. About the maker: Hyde Side Paddles is an “average working man” turned paddle maker. A while back, someone somewhere mentioned they were looking for a paddle and he just so happened to have some left over hard wood from a recent project, some spare room, and free time. Turns out paddles are not that difficult to make if you have the tools, time and know-how. Located in: Michigan
