You've explored dominance and submission, but you crave a structured setting where you can ignite your deepest desires and delve into the riches of a D/s dynamic. Let us introduce you to the world of D/s Protocol, often referred to as High Protocol dynamics.

High Protocol is a set of codified rules for Dominants and submissives designed to fully embrace a power exchange dynamic, with strict structure for eye contact, positions, eating, service, use of the submissive's body, and more. 

In this class, we'll explore the history and modern iterations of protocol experiences, delve into the basic philosophy and principles of structured environments for hosting or playing privately with protocol, and learn how to apply a foundational set of principles to create your own connection. This class will include hands-on participation through discussion and learning & practicing positions and is recommended if you plan to attend the High Protocol party on Saturday as a primer to the rules & rituals of that environment.

For this class you will need:

You are summoned to a sanctum of refined power and exquisite surrender at Oblige. The Conclave is not merely a play party; it is a curated temple for the discerning power exchange player, a space where the intricate dance of devotion and command is revered. Here, within a framework of sacred High Protocol, we invite you to shed the mundane and step into the full expression of your D/s dynamic. This is an evening dedicated to the art of power exchange, designed for seasoned practitioners, devoted couples, and solitary seekers who yearn for a connection forged in honor, respect, and profound intensity.

The Experience

8:00PM: Doors open for service setup and mandatory consent and negotiation discussion

8:30PM – 10:00PM: High Protocol Hours

10:00PM – 1:00AM: BDSM Play Party – Please use the space as it was intended.

Limited Hor d’Oeuvres type snacks will be provided by Oblige. Attendees are welcome to bring their own lite meals, snacks, beverage service set ups and supplies.

Alcoholic beverages will be allowed for the High Protocol portion of the evening. (8-10pm) The use of alcohol should be only in relation to service, your power exchange and used to enrich your experience.  

 “Off Protocol” / service area will be the café. Dominants will not be allowed in the service area during High Protocol hours.

The Sacred Protocol

Upon entry, you will declare your role—Dominant or Submissive—with a color-coded name badge, setting the foundation for the evening's interactions. You will have the opportunity to indicate whether you are open to play with others, or attending for play only with a partner. The Conclave operates on a shared understanding of high protocol, creating a seamless environment for all to relax into their roles. This structure is the key that unlocks a deeper headspace, allowing for a more intense and fulfilling power exchange for all.

During High protocol Hours: (8:30-10) Submissives will embrace the beauty of control by:

-Refraining from speaking unless addressed.

-Averting their gaze from Dominants.

-Be willing to provide simple service, such as fetching a drink, sending a message to another Dominant, or grabbing a toy, to all Dominants present

-Calling all Dominants by an appropriate honorific (Sir, Ma'am, Goddess, etc.).

-Presenting themselves for inspection or negotiated use, learning to respond to commands such as “Present”, “Kneel”, or “Open”

During High protocol Hours: 8:30PM – 10:00PM Dominants will embrace the beauty of power by:

-Being the keepers of a respectful, honoring space that is comfortable and consentful for all

-Respect the chosen honorifics & pronouns of all submissives and honor the negotiation and boundaries of those they interact with.

-No touching or use a submissive without negotiation first. If a toy is "owned," you may still ask for their Owner's consent, and if a submissive's body part is offered, ask permission to proceed. 

-Socializing and interacting with other Dominants, including negotiating play more directly between them

-Bringing their deepest desires and highest code of conduct to ignite the play space

The Essentials

Arrival & The Threshold: The doors open for a 30-minute period of mingling and service set up before the container of High Protocol is formally sealed. Arriving on time is strongly recommended to form connections and acclimate to the space. Punctuality is paramount, as all attendees must participate in the mandatory consent and negotiation discussion at the beginning of the event. There will be no exceptions.

Attire & Adornment: Dress to honor your role.

Dominants: Formal wear is requested. Command the room with your presence.
