Ready for the mean rope that will have your partner making all the lovely sounds? In this class, @Midnight_Shibari and @I_am_Her, we’ll be exploring spicy and sadistic rope. The rope that adds another element to the craft! After starting with an introduction on safety and risks involved, we’ll go over how to tie the popular Guatemalan torture tie, a toe/foot tie, and a few ways to add some mean elements to your rope scenes. This is how you get those lovely sounds whilst being intentional and engaged in one of the many ways to practice rope.

Please be mentally prepared for screams/cries throughout, both during demonstration and from other participants as we move through class. Things often heat up quickly!

This is an In-Person ONLY class. No LiveStream or Recording

A tying partner is encouraged, but not necessary. Please feel free to sit in and just listen or tie solo if that’s your comfort. This is a class that will highlight and educate you in the art of adding an edge to the rope we already love.

Prerequisites/Tools: basic rope safety knowledge, single-column tie, half-hitches; 1-2 hanks of 7-8m rope; safety shears or similar rope cutting tool
