Handcrafted solid wood burnt pine stock. Stocks are crafed from pine, torch burnt and sanded, then finished with matte acrylic. The matte finish is great for photos and videos. Stocks have the Hyde Side Paddles logo branded on the top. They come with 4 - 2 1/2" eyebolts that can be screwed into the 5/16" threaded inserts. The strap hinge and lockable draw catch are both 4 inch and zinc plated. Stock dimensions: 25" Long, 8" Wide, 1.5" Thick. Ankle holes are 3 5/8" diameter. Wrist holes are 2 1/4" or 2 1/2" diameter.
About the maker: Hyde Side Paddles is an “average working man” turned paddle maker. A while back, someone somewhere mentioned they were looking for a paddle and he just so happened to have some left over hard wood from a recent project, some spare room, and free time. Turns out paddles are not that difficult to make if you have the tools, time and know-how. Located in: Michigan
